The child (kitty) is not expected to be perfect, but to be good enough, which is a well-known theory in psychological development. Marilyn Ansevin Austin of Olney, Maryland, holds a doctorate in human development and has been a psychotherapist for many years. I have a love of the magical world of childhood, and I believe that children can learn much about life through the telling of stories such as these about Caddy. This is her first childrens book.
